Conveyor

The Conveyor, which is moved by three engines, transports a pallet with tins and work pieces inside from one working station to another.
Assisted by five light-barriers, the pallets and the tins on them are transported safely to the correct positions.

  1. Conveyor 1:
    • one light-barrier
  2. Conveyor 2:
  3. Conveyor 3:

The Conveyor is divided into three parts. One part transports the pallets up to the first light-barrier (wait position). By activating the light-barrier the engine and thus the pallet is stopped. If the engine starts again the pallets move on and disable the light-barrier after a certain time.
The second conveyor navigates the pallet by means of two sensors to the correct positions in front of the Jack Station. In this case the first light-barrier symbolizes the first position, and the second light-barrier is the second position.
The third part of the conveyor transfers the pallets to a position in front of the Gripper Station. Assisted by two sensors the pallet is stopped at a definined position. The first light barrier determines the position of the first tin in front of the Gripper Station. Reaching the second light-barrier, the second tin is positioned.
After switching on the engine of the last conveyor the two light-barriers will be disabled and the pallet moves to the wait position of the following plant module.
